2024 End-of-Year Update: Newsletter #2

Following a thorough review process, the expert panel have selected the intervention designs that will be tested in this study. Now, in collaboration with passionate and interested researchers, we are working to finalize the list of countries where we can collect data. Additionally, the lead team are running pilots and seeking funding in order to maximize the project scope. The goal is to submit a Stage 1 Registered Report in April 2025.

Huge steps forward were taken on this ambitious project in 2024. This can be credited to the hard work and dedication of our collaborators. Thank you for the work, and we look forward to pushing the project forward in 2025!

4th October 2024: Newsletter #1

Since launching our call for collaborators on 12th July, we have received an overwhelmingly positive response from researchers across the world. At the time of writing, we have more than 1020 researchers from more than 70 countries who have registered as interested collaborators. This represents a hugely successful recruitment process and a shared enthusiasm for the significance of what we aim to achieve on this project!

Following our open call for intervention designs, we closed the submission portal on 15th August with over 250 intervention design proposals submitted. We have just completed meetings with topical experts in each category to decide which of the submitted designs we would like to take forward, and we are currently reducing our shortlists down to those that will go in the final design.
